Do you like classical music? I do.
Never liked it when l was young, but, am liking it more and more now.
Wilsons Road Mornington is the home for Frankston Musical Society and Peninsula Musical Society. On March 22nd l travelled to Mornington and saw a show from Peninsula Music Society, and how did l like it?
 This the performer l saw. Stefan Cassomenos.

Stefan is a very accomplished pianist and he performed a varied program including Mozart, Liszt and Beethoven. I wish l could play like this.

Stefan is also a co-Artistic Director of the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival and has composed for Symphonys,  choirs and opera. 
Wilsons Road has a very good name and attracts good shows. Last year l saw the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra perform and that was brilliant.

I know that a keep saying it but it's true, suburban Arts are thriving in the suburbs of Melbourne.  If any of you are as interested as l am in the arts look in your local area and see what's on. You may get a pleasant surprise.

  It started with a happy bus driver singing along to the radio. Then followed a fruitless search to find a theatre. Just between you and me l am useless at reading maps and have a lousy sense of direction. So then l gave up and walked towards the library to see the 2 authors in conversation. Phillipa Kaye and Jodi Gibson are in the photo below.  What an interesting talk. Both authors have books out currently. Phillipa Kaye's book is Girl Detectives Just Wanna Have Fun: A Birdie Mealing Mystery. Phillipa is standing on the left. Jodi Gibson's book is called Reinventing Emily Brown. Jodi is standing on the right. They asked each other questions about their books and took questions from the audience. They went through the process of writing, editing and publishing. I think it's always interesting to hear the creative process that goes into writing a book. I haven't read either book but l am tempted by the mystery book. Have any of you read Tolstoy? Do you have a favourite?  This is a very interesting documentary that l found this week. He was an interesting man and led an interesting life. He is regarding as one of the greatest Russian writers and l think it is a well deserved titile. What do you think?

We have a release date for the next Robert Galbraith books. I don't want to wait until September,  but, I'm going to have to.  Do you like these books? Have any of you seen the Strike series?. And, am l going to wait even longer because I'm here in Australia?  I know we wait longer for films? Can someone explain why to me? Leave me a comment.
