Do you have several books on the go? Do you always start a new book before finishing the old one?  Do you like having a library of books where you live?. I don't, and yet, was still collecting books. No more. I mainly listen to audio books these days so why am l hanging onto them? Enough is enough. They will be going back to where they came from in the first place. Let other people take them to read. I will stick to audio books. What about you? Does anyone else like audio books?

Delmore Schwartz was an American poet. He died in his early 50's in the early 1960's. I like him as a poet and love how poets use language. Hope you enjoy.

I think Monet was one of the greatest impressionist painters. Do you agree. This is an interesting video explaining Monet and how he painted. If any of you paint l hope you find it interesting.

Joanne Harris is an English author. This book is her 2nd or 3rd book and l loved listening to the audio book read by Joanne herself. What a treat. Who else likes audio books.

I have finally seen a Wallace and Gromit film. Have any of you seen any of them. They are award winning films and very English. The day started off with me mixing up the days and then sitting in the wrong cinema!! What did l think of it, look at the video.

Do you think Jane Austen is one of the best.  She was gone by the age of 41. She left behind 6 novels that are still today in print. Let me know what you think.

William Blake was an English poet and engraver. Born 1757-1827. Blake was largely unknown during his lifetime, but, has become a major literary figure since his death. He worked to bring about change. In the June 1780 riots Blake found himself at the front of a mob that burned Newgate Prison. This had a huge effect on him and gave him powerful material for Europe(1794) and America(1793). This poem is from Songs of Innocence. The first poem l recited was from Songs of Experience. William Blake is now considered a great of English poetry. His work is still popular and studied in schools and universities. I hope you enjoy.
