Check out audio books on Youtube. There's something good about being read to and l especially like the Agatha Christie audio books. Look at the video as a l share the name of a good Youtube channel.

Another true crime book. This one was huge in Australia. Two 70+ year olds disappeared on a camping trip. Someone has been found guilty, and jailed, for this. This well written book takes the reader through the crime and his interviews, along with the police who chased him. Very good read.
Another sonnet by Shakespeare. What a great writer he was. Like all his work there are themes in this sonnet. I know what l see in it; what about you. Do you see the themes and agree with them? Let me know.
Have any of you read Tolstoy? Do you have a favourite? This is a very interesting documentary that l found this week. He was an interesting man and led an interesting life. He is regarding as one of the greatest Russian writers and l think it is a well deserved titile. What do you think?
I saw a show on Friday which got me thinking about Puccini, and how little l knew of him or his music. So this is what l have been listening to the last few days. I like it and will definitely be listening to it again. Who else likes opera and Puccini in particular? Let me know in the comments.
Another good show at Frankston Arts Centre. Antoinette Halloran is a Soprano with a wonderful strong voice. She sang opera airias and more. Accompanied by a pianist it was so good. We even heard Clare de Luna. That is a near perfect piece of music. It made me think that l know very little about Puccini. I am a new comer to classic music and definitely have more composers to find. Are any of you opera lovers? Do any of you know Puccini's work? Let me know in the comments.
I like reading crime novels, even true crime. This book is about a true life crime; the murders of Jeanette and Harvey Crewe in 1970. This crime happened in New Zealand and has had many twists and turns including a Royal Commission that was critical of the police. Who else reads true crime?
It's been a great year for seeing films. I have not been disappointed by any of the films l've seen this year and Lee didn't disappoint either. Kate Winslet is so good and it is the sort of film that makes you think about afterwards. That makes a good film , l think. Have any of you seen this film?
How lucky was l to find that first Peter James book. Before that l had never heard of him, but, l read it and really liked it. ( I have a review of that novel on the website). I was tiring of J.D.Robb and now have an author to replace those books. Who else reads Peter James? Who else likes reading crime like me??
